Quick answer

An accumulator’s combined decimal odds are the product of each selection’s odds: 1.80 × 2.10 × 1.65 = 6.24. A 10 stake returns 62.37 if every leg wins. A void leg counts as 1.00; one losing leg loses the whole bet.

Why accumulators are hard to win

Every leg carries the bookmaker’s margin, and those margins multiply too. A three-leg accumulator of selections that each imply a 55% chance has an implied chance of all winning of about 17%.

Frequently asked questions

How do you calculate accumulator odds?

Multiply the decimal odds of every selection together.

What happens if one leg is void?

A void (non-runner or postponed) leg is usually treated as odds of 1.00, so the accumulator continues with the other legs. Check your operator's rules.
